I’m Evan Arbeitman, a software engineer with a strong background in optimizing and scaling complex systems. I have extensive experience working with a range of technologies, including Golang, Python, TypeScript, and AWS, to implement efficient CI/CD workflows, improve application build times, and streamline deployments. I thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in writing clean, maintainable code that drives business results.
I graduated with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and further honed my skills through a Full Stack Developer Bootcamp by 2U. Over the years, I’ve worked at Compass, where I led projects such as optimizing CI/CD pipelines, developing backend tools, and re-architecting infrastructure with Terraform and Kubernetes.
I’m also passionate about personal growth and balance. Outside of coding, you’ll find me coaching fencing, hiking, playing board games, traveling, and engaging in mindfulness practices like yoga. These activities keep me energized and focused, which I bring into my work every day.
